Biggest engineering structure across the main road between Damascus, Aleppo and Lattakia. Overall distance between abutments is 595 m with 14 spans, 72 m height. The piers were slip-formed and the top structure consists of 84 pre-stressed beams, 140 tons each sized 41.2 x 2.5 x 2.5 m. The bridge has two road lanes, each 12 m wide.
